I think my Royal Mail tracking is invalid

It looks like something is wrong with my tracking ...

The resulting message reads:   "An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item"

This simply means it has yet to reach your address, it does not mean the tracking has failed, or the number is invalid.

If your current tracking result looks like the image below, then all is fine.

With this type of tracking the number is generated when Royal Mail accept the package from us, the only further update is when the package is scanned at your delivery address and posted.

This tracking does not require a signature.

Please also ensure to copy and paste the complete tracking number.
